Há uma distância considerável entre os conhecimentos gerados pelos institutos de pesquisa do Brasil e o que chega até o público. Para cobrir esse sério déficit em relação à educação científica praticada no país, museus e centros de ciência utilizam amplo lique de linguagem e de recursos para se comunicar com seus públicos e proporcionar maior familiaridade com a ciência. O presente estudo parte do princípio de que a divulgação científica colabora para a democratização da sociedade. Para tanto, analisa a exposição Ciência para Vida, realizada pela Embrapa, na qual são mostrados tecnolgoiass e produtos desenvolvidos pela empresa em seus 40 centros de pesquisa. Discute-se aqui a interatividade em centros e museus de ciência com fator capaz de facilitar o aprendizado e a construção dos conceitos pelo público visitante, principalmente quando se trata de crianças e jovens. Avalia formatos utilizados para a apresentação dos resultados da pesquisa da Embrapa e aparatos desenvolvidos com esse fim. Estende-se ainda para analisar os trabalhos de outras três instituições -Museu da Vida, da Fiocruz, no Rio de Janeiro; Museo Participativo de Ciencias, em Buenos Aires, Argentina; Muséums Nature Montreal, no Canadá - capazes de sugerir novos modelos de apresentação em eventos científicos para a tecnologias da Embrapa.
