Esta tese em cotutela busca circunscrever o impacto do processo de digitalização e exposição online da obra de arte na prática museal de extroversão de acervos. Inscrevendo esse processo no âmbito da crítica do poder do e no museu, tentaremos mostrar como os museus, sujeitos às restrições intrínsecas a qualquer produção de conteúdo digital, podem continuar por novos meios o seu tradicional procedimento de regulação das práticas do olhar. A análise inicial parte da definição de museu proposta pelo ICOM Praga 2022, evidenciando como os museus perpetuam assimetrias nas relações de poder, mesmo em seus esforços de reinvenção como instituições críticas e abertas. Na construção das bases teóricas e metodológicas da tese, nos fundamentamos especialmente na abordagem foucaultiana dos dispositivos entendidos a partir da articulação entre poder e saber na estruturação de subjetividades e experiências socioculturais. Na construção dos termos de referência para a abordagem da exposição online, introduzimos antes uma discussão sobre a noção de exposição in situ, propondo compreendê-la como uma mídia textual capaz de articular a materialidade dos objetos com estratégias discursivas em um espaço mediador de processos de significação e relações sociais. Essa compreensão é ampliada na articulação com o conceito de formato, entendido não apenas como configuração técnica, mas como uma interface dinâmica que revela a exposição como um campo performativo, regulando modos de ver e moldando práticas culturais.
