Historicamente, as mulheres são vítimas de uma conjuntura patriarcal na qual são concebidas como submissas e inferiores. Estudos sobre as lutas das mulheres na sociedade e os modos como seus corpos físicos são significados são urgentes e relevantes para a construção de uma era contemporânea (e futura) pautada nos direitos humanos e na equidade de gênero. Nessa perspectiva, nosso propósito nesta pesquisa é analisar textos dados a circular em manifestações denominadas “Marcha das Vadias” e publicados na página do Instagram #marchadasvadias, com foco nas imagens de corpos seminus das mulheres. Esse movimento feminista surge em 2011 no Canadá, após um policial declarar que, para evitar estupros, as mulheres deveriam deixar de se vestir como vadias. O dizer desse sujeito filia-se a um posicionamento discursivo machista e a “Marcha das Vadias” emerge como resposta. Práticas contraofensivas e de resistências pelo direito não só de as mulheres se vestirem como quiserem, mas também pelo fim da “cultura do estupro” são materializadas nas ruas de Toronto e discursivizadas em âmbito internacional. Acionamos procedimentos analíticos da Análise de Discurso e recorremos teoricamente a Orlandi (2005), Fernandes (2007), Courtine (2009), Milanez e Gonçalves (2018), Belting (2006), Stearns (2007) e Pinto (2010), dentre outros. Observamos como, em tais protestos, os corpos femininos são suportes materiais e, ao mesmo tempo, discursos centrais de práticas libertárias.
