Resumo: Este trabalho tem como objetivo estudar a ascensão de um grupo neoliberal no Brasil a partir de 214, o MBL, que se autodefine baseando-se na alteridade com a oposição, ou seja, define-se por meio do Outro A pesquisa é feita com base na análise de 18 vídeos do movimento, publicados em seu canal do YouTube, no período de novembro de 214 a agosto de 216 (golpe) São analisados trechos destes vídeos nos quais a relação com o Outro, que toma a forma da esquerda brasileira e principalmente do PT, fica presente Como base teórica, são utilizados autores que discutem questões como neoliberalismo, redes sociais e política atual, são eles: Naomi Klein, Noam Chomsky, Dardot e Laval, Wolfgang Streeck e Philip Oxhorn, além de autores que analisam todo esse processo histórico que leva à contemporaneidade e a questão do Outro na contemporaneidade – sejam eles da escola de Frankfurt, como Herbert Marcuse, que serve de linha condutora para o trabalho, ou mais contemporâneos, como Edward Said e Achille Mbembe São abordadas, portanto, questões como as relações dentro do neoliberalismo, o nacionalismo, a doutrina do choque e a crise do capitalismo O trabalho é dividido em 3 capítulos: o primeiro trata de questões relacionadas ao neoliberalismo; o segundo, da metodologia de análise e dos 18 vídeos escolhidos; por fim, o último capítulo é o elo entre a definição de Outro e a abordagem deste pelo MBL Aprofundando o estudo sobre o objeto e todas estas questões propostas, chega-se à conclusão de como a definição do MBL se dá por meio da diferença em relação ao Outro, o antipetismo, o antilulismo e as falas nacionalistas
