Abstract
A racionalidade neoliberal, conforme a definiu Foucault (2010), cria dispositivos que propõem que os sujeitos estabeleçam uma relação consigo mesmos na qual a sua ética deve ser entrelaçada com a ética da empresa. É somente através do entrelaçamento entre a força produtiva do sujeito, não somente por coerção, mas na atualidade através da estimulação, e o aumento do capital das empresas, que o sujeito pode fazer parte do tecido social. Aqueles que não se adequam a essa racionalidade, são tidos como fracassados e são minadas suas possibilidades de ação. Seu fracasso acaba se tornando o esgotamento de suas possibilidades de interferir na realidade. Essa pesquisa se encontra nos entrelaçamentos entre a psicologia e a arte. O objetivo geral da pesquisa foi analisar, utilizando da ferramenta da genealogia foucaultiana, a emergência e a proveniência do neoliberalismo e problematizar a ativação de potências do fracasso instauradas pela arte contemporânea. Para tanto, nos utilizamos de autores como Foucault, Deleuze, Guattari, Dardot e Laval, Safatle, Wendy Brown, Lazzarato, Byung-Chul Han, Silvio Almeida, Suely Rolnik, além de Halberstam, Andrade e outros. Além disso, buscamos analisar genealogicamente obras de arte contemporânea nas quais a experimentação artística coloca em cena as fissuras instaladas pela prática do fracasso enquanto potência inventiva e resistência às lógicas neoliberais, especificamente através dos trabalhos de Tracey Moffatt, Victor de la Roque e John Baldessari.
