Associação da força de preensão manual com a qualidade de vida em sobreviventes de câncer de mama : uma revisão sistemática e meta-análise

Abstract
A força de preensão manual é um indicador de força muscular geral e em pacientes com câncer atua como um marcador relevante associado à mortalidade e saúde. A revisão sistemática teve como objetivo avaliar a associação entre a função muscular periférica e a qualidade de vida relacionada à saúde em sobreviventes de câncer de mama. Foi realizada uma revisão sistemática registrada (PROSPERO: CRD 42021225206). As buscas foram realizadas em MEDLINE via Pubmed, PEDro, Cochrane Library, Embase, CINAHL via EBSCO e bases de dados Science Direct. Foram incluídos estudos observacionais avaliando a associação entre força de preensão manual e qualidade de vida relacionada à saúde em mulheres adultas sobreviventes de câncer de mama. Não foram aplicadas restrições linguísticas ou de tempo. Dois revisores revisaram textos completos para inclusão e realizaram extração de dados e risco de viés usando a escala de Newcastle e Ottawa. Foram incluídos cinco artigos e envolveram 587 pacientes, com idade média de 47 a 59 anos. O percentual de prejuízo da força de preensão manual variou de 38,3% a 60,3%. A força de preensão manual foi associada a diferentes medidas de qualidade de vida. Em meta-análise, incluindo 220 pacientes, o coeficiente de correlação entre força de preensão manual e qualidade de vida relacionada à saúde foi de 0,26 (IC 95%: 0,07-0,35). Dessa forma concluímos que sobreviventes de câncer de mama enfrentam declínio de força preensão manual. Nesta população a força de preensão manual foi correlacionada com a qualidade de vida relacionada à saúde. No entanto, mais evidências são necessárias.
