Abstract
Le second refrain du chant en tamoul « Tuyil kolla » s’adresse ainsi à la mer : « Les êtres vivants en toi atteindront la plénitude ». À partir de ce poème, l’artiste Sivaselvi Sarkar a créé une pièce dans le style Bharata-nāṭyam : comment la mer est-elle représentée? Comment le poème, développé par l’artiste scénique, « incarne »-t-il la mer et ses « êtres vivants » (« uyirkal » en tamoul)? Comment Sivaselvi Sarkar m’a-t-elle transmis cette corporéité? Cette étude montre comment le texte, sa partition musicale et sa création dans le style Bharata-nāṭyam expriment un concernement porté par une véritable « écopoïétique ».
