El presente artículo pretende conocer las diferencias existentes en los niveles de alexitimia, cociente del espectro autista, ansiedad, depresión y satisfacción con la carrera elegida entre los estudiantes de distintas disciplinas. Este estudio compara para ello las puntuaciones de los alumnos de primer curso del Grado de Psicología, Grado de Ingeniería Informática y Grado de Ingeniería Electrónica y Automática de la Universidad de Zaragoza (n=78), en las variables nombradas. Los resultados muestran una mayor puntuación en alexitimia para los estudiantes de ingeniería, concretamente en la subescala del Test de Alexitimia de Toronto “pensamiento externamente orientado”, lo que sugiere que no difieren de los estudiantes de psicología en el procesamiento emocional, sino en el estilo cognitivo.
