Abstract
Individualism in the North America lends itself to a history of religious innovation, with various modes of expression in and among denominations. Much of the dynamic change in Christianity is driven by immigration, as cultural diversity contributes to the various modes of worship in the region. However, despite theological reason to the contrary, racism and xenophobia persist in the USA and Canada; moreover, justice is long past due for indigenous communities violated and displaced by Christian enterprise. The study of World Christianity is critical for contextualizing Christianity in North America.
