Le lieu de vie est pensé comme le reflet du lieu intérieur. Cet article amène à réfléchir à la pratique particulière du psychologue à domicile dans le cadre du pôle logement d’une association de l’Ouest de la France. Toute la difficulté de ce travail d’équilibriste se trouve dans la manière de rencontrer l’Autre, d’entendre sa part de subjectivité et de jongler avec les attentes politiques et sociales. La posture du psychologue s’ajuste en tentant d’être au plus près de la réalité psychique, et en essayant de désamorcer les effets de la stigmatisation et ainsi engager quelques fois des effets de changement qui viennent à s’opérer dans le temps.
