Le recueil de certains de ses propres articles publié ici par Edward M. Harris s'avérera certainement d'une grande utilité pour quiconque aura à traiter de l'histoire sociale ou judiciaire d'Athènes à l'époque classique.Après, notamment, un sommaire (p.VII-VIII) et une commode présentation du travail par l'A.lui-même (p.XVII-XXXII), ce sont en tout 21 études qui sont regroupées en 4 rubriques.La première rubrique est intitulée « Loi et histoire constitutionnelle ».On y trouve des études telles que « Solon et l'esprit de la loi en Grèce archaïque et classique » (p.3-28 ; cf.J.
