Abstract
3–5 sentences, or around 120 words and no more than 200 words Roman Catholicism has become closely intertwined with Polish culture and national identity over the country’s thousand-year history of Christianity. The Catholic Church and Polish pope John Paul II played important roles in the Solidarity movement of the 1980s and the transformation from communist rule to a democratic and independent country. In the process of cultural change that accompanied integration with the European Union (since 2004), traditional Polish religious attitudes declined. The country’s political polarisation is paralleled by ideological tension between conservative and liberal forms of Catholicism and even growing anti-Catholicism. Radio Maryja, founded in 1991, is an important political and spiritual voice for conservative Catholics. Whether Catholic, Orthodox or Protestant, local parishes play a crucial role in social and cultural life, especially in rural areas. In contrast to the religiously active “John Paul II generation,” today’s youth are increasingly secularised. Migration also plays a role in Polish faith life, with large diaspora communities in the United States, Germany, Brazil, and Canada, plus a recent influx of millions of refugees from Ukraine.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
