Abstract
This papers seeks to address the last century’s displacement processes in Colombia, to interpret them in light of their effects on the social network and the construction of citizenship, inquiring into the kind of citizenship that is established when displacement is a recurring phenomenon. The purpose is to show how it constitutes a pattern of settlement and construction of territory in the country. The second part briefy characterizes the dynamics of displacement of the last quarter century, in order to show how they cannot be read only from the viewpoint of confrontation between armed actors, but are a repeated procedure for the successful appropriation of resources. The circle is closed with some refections on the impact of displacement in the confguration of citizenship.
