Le règlement européen sur les services numériques constitue une pierre angulaire de la réglementation de l’espace numérique dans l’Union européenne. La mise en oeuvre et l’exécution de cette réglementation s’organisent autour des compétences de l’Union et de celles de ses États membres. L’Union européenne, en plus de disposer de pouvoirs importants de contrôle vis-à-vis des services de plateformes en ligne les plus populaires, joue également un rôle de cohérence et de coordination dans son exécution. Les États membres, quant à eux, sont chargés par défaut des pouvoirs de contrôle et de surveillance du règlement. Cet article revient sur l’ensemble de ces règles, à la fois au niveau européen et au niveau belge, ce dernier niveau se distinguant des autres régimes européens, au regard des spécificités constitutionnelles du Royaume.
