Abstract

The georeferencing of civic numbering represents a fundamental step in the modernization of territorial information systems and in supporting the digital transition of public administrations. Thanks to more than twenty years of field experience, StudioSit SA has developed a highly accurate and standardized model for collecting, validating and integrating address data across Italian municipalities and several European countries. This article analyzes the evolution of geospatial addressing before and after the PNRR Measure 1.3.1, highlighting critical issues related to data quality, governance and open data ecosystems, and discussing future scenarios in the context of national ANNCSU implementation.
