Diversité, distribution et pouvoir pathogène des protostrongylidés chez les ruminants d'Amérique du Nord
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Protostrongylids are nematodes which infect lungs, muscles or nervous system of wild or domestic ruminants. In spite of recent advances, some knowledge gaps remain, especially for Protostrongylids of wild ruminants in Canada. Owing to the particularity of the climate and the hosts in arctic areas, a study was conducted in 2007 in Alaska, Yukon Territory, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Newfoundland and Labrador. During this study, a new species, related to the genus Varestrongylus, has been described. The objective of the thesis was to continue the study about the distribution of Protostrongylids, especially in Woodland Caribou in subarctic and boreal areas (Southern Canada), and in Moose in Alaska, including the novel described species. After a review of literature, the prevalence of Protostrongylids infections was estimated based on isolation of first-stage larvae with a modified Baermann method. Then, the distribution of the different species of Protostrongylids was described based on the identification of the larvae by PCR amplification and ITS2 direct sequencing. Finally, the influence of sex, age, climate or season on Protostrongylids infection was analyzed, in order to identify potential predisposing factors.
Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
