Dans un contexte où l'évaluation des savoirs accorde une importance croissante à leurs effets sociaux, cet article examine la contribution possible de la philosophie à l'analyse des enjeux sociotechniques liés à la biométhanisation en Côte d'Ivoire. À partir de la philosophie pratique et de la philosophie de l'entrepreneuriat, il propose une lecture épistémologique de cette technologie, envisagée comme une innovation mobilisée pour répondre à des défis environnementaux, agricoles et énergétiques. L'étude adopte une approche interdisciplinaire et s'intéresse plus particulièrement aux processus de transfert de connaissances, à la participation communautaire et aux dispositifs institutionnels qui conditionnent l'appropriation et l'intégration durable de la biométhanisation. La philosophie est mobilisée comme ressource analytique pour éclairer certaines dimensions éthiques, sociales et politiques de cette innovation.
