Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Project management in North America Project management, which had already been the focus of major interest during the past ten years, has experienced spectacular development in the last few years to the point that it is becoming a “normal” component of general business management. Based on a analysis of the American project management literature, the authors find that — paradoxically — the rate of academic publications and the themes discussed have not varied for a decade. On the other hand, a study of the practices of Quebec firms finds that managerial considerations are increasingly leading project management practitioners to re-define the field. These studies highlight the differences between the North American and European approaches to the field — the former focusing on tools, techniques and control and the latter on subjects such as motivation and competencies.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
