Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación presenta un análisis de las conexiones viga - columna en estructuras de hormigón armado, diseñadas según los lineamientos de la NEC-SE-VIVIENDA: Viviendas de hasta 2 pisos con luces de hasta 5 metros. El primero se desarrolla empleando las secciones mínimas establecidas en el capítulo 2 de la norma, mientras que en el segundo se implementa las secciones del ejemplo desarrollado en la guía práctica, y el tercer modelo usando las secciones mínimas establecidas por la NEC-SE-HM: Estructuras de hormigón armado. El caso de estudio está ubicado en Ecuador, provincia de Pichincha dentro del Distrito Metropolitano de Quito. También se presenta un análisis comparativo entre los principales parámetros de tres diseños modelados en ETABS y los cálculos de conexiones viga - columna, tanto manuales como obtenidos mediante IDEA StatiCa, para verificar el cumplimiento de la norma NEC-SE-DS (2015).
