Abstract
Ce mémoire présente des données auprès des vétérans afin d’entrevoir si le jiu jitsu brésilien peut être envisagé comme méthode d’intervention, notamment en travail social. C’est par des entretiens semi-dirigés et dans un contexte d’analyse thématique que les vétérans ont été approchés afin de faire part de leur vécu au sein des Forces de l’Armée Canadienne, leur transition, ainsi que du lien qu’ils peuvent en faire à la pratique du jiu jitsu brésilien lors de celle-ci. L’approche interactionniste permet de mieux comprendre comment le corps, par cet art martial, peut ainsi s’avérer bénéfique.
