Abstract
Partio on Suomen suurin vapaaehtoisvoimin toimiva järjestö. Partion pitkät perinteet juontavat Suomessa vuoteen 1910. Suurin osa aloittaa partioharrastuksen lapsena, mutta yhä useampi lähtee mukaan toimintaan aikuisiällä, esimerkiksi omien perheenjäsenten harrastustoiminnan tukemiseksi. Partion perinteet, kasvatustavoitteet ja toimintakulttuuri voivat tuntua vierailta uudelle aikuiselle, joka aloittaa vapaaehtoisena partiolippukunnassa, esimerkiksi sudenpentujen laumajohtajana. Uuteen yhteisöön sopeutuminen ja tapojen oppiminen vie aina aikaa, vaikka olisikin motivoitunut ja innostunut. Partiolippukunta Kulman Kiertäjät Ry on Helsingissä Vallilan alueella toimiva keskisuuri lippukunta. Aiemmin lippukunnassa ei ollut omaa toimintamallia perehdytyspolusta uusille vapaaehtoisille. Tämän opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli kehittää tätä uuden aikuisen perehdytystä. Opinnäytetyö oli kehittämistyö jota tehtiin toimintatutkimuksen menetelmin mm. kyselytutkimuksen ja pienen työpajan keinoin. Perehdytyksen kehittämisessä hyödynnettiin andragogiikan periaatteita, jotka tukevat aikuisia oppijoina. Suomen Partiolaiset Ry on laatinut perehdytyksen tueksi laajoja materiaalipankkeja, joita myös voidaan hyödyntää perehdytyksen tukena. Opinnäytetyön pääasiallinen tuotoksena on käytännönläheinen perehdytyslista uusille aikuisille partiojohtajille, erityisesti niille, joilla ei ole aiempaa kokemusta partiosta tai Kulman kiertäjistä.
