Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan kecemasan menghadapi quarter life crisis (QLC). Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah terdapat hubungaan negatif antara kecerdasan emosional dengan kecemasan mengahadapi quarter life crisis pada mahasiswa. Ketika kecemasan mengahadapi quarter life crisis meningkat maka kecerdasan emosional menurun. Sebaliknya, jika kecemasan mengahadapi quarter life crisis menurun maka kecerdasan emosional akan meningkat. Karakteristik subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif perguruan tinggi yang berusia 18 sampai 25 tahun. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara insidental sampling dengan membagikan kuisioner secara online melalui google form sesuai dengan kriteria yang ditentukan. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Skala Kecerdasan Emosional (mengenali emosi diri, mengelola emosi, motivasi diri, mengenali emosi orang lain, dan membina hubungan) dan Skala Kecemasan (fisik, emosional, mental/kognitif). Teknik analisis data menggunakan korelasi product moment . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (r) sebesar -0,392 dengan korelasi yang sangat signifikan (p) 0,000 (p<0,05). Dalam perhitungan korelasi masing-masing aspek hubungan kecerdasan emosional terhadap kecemasan menghadapi quarter life crisis didapati skor paling tinggi diduduki oleh aspek mengenali emosi orang lain dengan skor 0,968. Dengan demikian penelitian yang diajukan diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif antara kecerdasan emosional dengan kecemasan menghadapi quarter life crisis(QLC).
