Abstract
La sentencia objeto de comentario ahonda en la controvertida relación entre la norma de conflicto que determina la ley aplicable a las sucesiones, según el artículo 9.8 del Código Civil y la que establece la ley aplicable a los efectos del matrimonio. Esta cuestión ha generado, un amplio debate y confusión en la práctica jurídica y el Tribunal Supremo apela a su propia doctrina para resolver un asunto en el que ambas leyes aparentemente eran distintas.
