Abstract

Depuis 2019, notre équipe s’intéresse à l’enseignement du vocabulaire et au développement de la conscience lexicale au premier cycle du primaire. Constituée de quatre enseignantes, d’une conseillère pédagogique en français et d’une chercheuse, c’est par la voie de la recherche-action que l’équipe travaille à la transformation des pratiques enseignantes. Si, d’entrée de jeu, les savoirs à construire sont de nature disciplinaire, les savoirs relatifs à la démarche scientifique constituent également une préoccupation pour la chercheuse et la conseillère pédagogique. Des actions posées en début de projet, en cours de réalisation et une fois le projet terminé ont permis de rendre explicites différents aspects de la démarche scientifique. Certaines interventions des enseignantes portent à croire que les actions posées ont été l’occasion de créer un sentiment d’appartenance au projet et de démystifier ce qu’est une recherche-action.
