Abstract
La Doctora Mariana Brussoni se especializa en juego infantil, desarrollo y riesgo. Es profesora de la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad de Columbia Británica y es la directora del proyecto de Investigación "Human Early Learning Partnership", del Instituto de Investigación del Hospital Infantil de Columbia Británica en Vancouver, Canadá. Sus investigaciones recientes indagan sobre el juego infantil al aire libre y se centran en las percepciones de riesgo de padres, madres y educadores así como en el diseño de entornos propicios para el juego al aire libre, con el objetivo de garantizar que niñas y niños tengan el tiempo, el espacio y la libertad para jugar al aire libre todos los días.
