Hungry Listening , du musicologue Stó:lō Dylan Robinson, ouvre un espace pour l’existence épistémologique et ontologique autochtone à travers une critique décoloniale dans le domaine des études sonores. Des extraits de l’introduction et du quatrième chapitre, « Réparation ethnographique, responsabilité compositionnelle », sont présentés. Le texte engage une réflexion critique sur les modes coloniaux de connexion et d’expérience du son. Robinson encourage des méthodologies décoloniales qui permettent de remettre en question les pratiques d’écoute fondées sur la consommation, l’extraction, la collecte et la violence.
