U radu se u preliminarnom obliku objavljuju rezultati rekognosciranja i sondažnog istraživanja prostora sa zapadne strane gradskog područja Ise, izvan zidina, na najdonjim sjeveroistočnim padinama brda Bandirice. Na tom prostoru od oko 1000 m2 pronađeni su ostatci građevina za koje se iznosi pretpostavka da je riječ o suburbiju, odnosno vjerojatnoj stambeno- obrtničkoj četvrti Ise. Rekognosciranjem prostora nađeni su ulomci dolija, sinterirani ulomci dolija i prepečene keramike amorfnih oblika, možda dijelova stijenki lončarske ili neke druge peći. Istraživanja su u samom početku, te je nemoguće iznositi čvršće zaključke, no nesumnjivo je riječ o jednom od najvažnijih pronalazaka kad je riječ o istraživanjima Ise, koji će uvelike pomoći u boljem razumijevanju isejskog urbanizma i oblikovanja prostora Ise, njezinog gospodarstva, širenja grada i drugih značajki te pridonijeti boljem shvaćanju naseljenosti grada i otoka.
