Abstract
Cet article présente une recherche-action pédagogique menée en enseignement du français langue additionnelle dans une université anglophone québécoise. En tant qu’enseignante-chercheuse, l’autrice explore comment des pratiques d’enseignement plurilingues et interculturelles peuvent être intégrées à ce contexte, où les étudiants disposent de répertoires linguistiques variés, mais partagent une langue véhiculaire. La recherche repose sur l’analyse de pratiques au cours de quatre trimestres d’un cours de niveau B1, pratiques nourries par la réflexivité, l’observation et les échanges au sein d’une communauté d’apprentissage professionnel. L’article propose un inventaire structuré de pratiques plurilingues et interculturelles, classées selon qu’elles visent à valoriser ou à mobiliser les répertoires linguistique, culturel et métacognitif des étudiants et étudiantes. Mettant en lumière des stratégies concrètes, adaptées aux contraintes de l’enseignement universitaire, cet inventaire propose un cadre souple et transférable pour les enseignants et enseignantes souhaitant intégrer des pratiques plurilingues et interculturelles dans leurs cours de langue.
