Abstract
Ce court essai suggère des pistes pour la mise à jour du concept marxien du fétichisme de la marchandise pour l’époque actuelle du numérique et de l’intelligence artificielle. Si la marchandisation illusoire des biens, notamment celui du travail humain transformé en force de travail vendable sur le marché, s’avère nécessaire à l’accumulation capitaliste, l’avènement de la donnée numérique ainsi que sa mise en valeur par des métadonnées (y compris l’intelligence artificielle) comme source importante, voire principale, de l’accumulation capitaliste contemporaine nous oblige à repenser la place du travail (intellectuel) au cœur de la pensée marxienne. L’autonomisation du processus numérique de génération de la plus-value amène l’aliénation complète de l’être humain et pulvérise le sujet moderne, désormais source et fruit d’algorithmes tout sauf révolutionnaires.
