De meeste landen kennen een vorm van constitutionele toetsing, vaak<br>ingevoerd tijdens de democratiseringsgolf van de jaren 90. Inmiddels<br>staat constitutionele toetsing in veel van die landen nu onder druk of<br>is zelfs volledig onder controle van de regering gebracht. Deze bijdrage<br>bespreekt hoe het Indonesische Constitutioneel Hof er tot nu toe in<br>is geslaagd om iets van zijn onafhankelijkheid te behouden en welke<br>factoren dat mogelijk hebben gemaakt.<br>
