Abstract
En aquest paper abordam la comparació de l’acolliment de persones nouvingudes al Quebec i a Flandes, i Catalunya. Les situacions del Quebec i Flandes resulten prou diferents: al Quebec hi ha una majoria d’immigrants de procedència de països francòfons, i, per tant, coneixen la llengua; a Flandes, en canvi, observam una gran diversitat de procedències i de llengües. Ambdós casos contrasten amb la nostra part del món, on distingim dos blocs de migrants: un de molt divers i un altre monolingüe en castellà. Així mateix, al Quebec la immigració és vista com una oportunitat per al sobiranisme propi i a Flandes hi ha divisió de visions: per a una part és una oportunitat però per a una altra resulta una amenaça.
