Abstract
Assembling an ontology and its language that are consistent across all scales of space and time points to a new fundamental quantum. It leads to a new understanding of the nature of space and time. It subsumes both relativity and quantum theory as emergent approximations. It embraces recent work suggesting the subatomic particles of the standard model of particle physics are not elementary. It suggests a radical revision of the current standard model of cosmology in which matter, energy, dark matter and dark energy are all simple expressions of the fundamental quantum and the universe’s evolution is a singular continuous phenomenon. It leads to natural solutions for a wide range of problems in, for example, quantum theory and astrophysics. It has implications for cognition.
