Abstract
Det hører til sjældenhederne at finde ryttergrave fra vikingetiden, og af samme årsag kender vi kun ganske lidt til hesteudstyret fra denne periode. I 2012 dukkede der en rig ryttergrav op i Fregerslev i udkanten af Hørning, og med fundet åbnede der sig en enestående mulighed for at kigge nærmere på et hesteudstyr, som kun kunne have tilhørt en meget magtfuld person i tiden omkring 950. I år har vi netop afsluttet forskningsprojektet Vikingen fra Fregerslev, og afslutningsvis blev det rekonstruerede hesteudstyr vist frem.
