Abstract
Marmara bölgesinin etrafındaki aktif fayların var olması nedeniyle, Bursa 1. Derece deprem kuşağı içinde bulunmaktadır. Yapılaşması hızla büyüyen şehirde deprem en büyük doğal afetlerden birisi haline gelmiştir. Deprem nedeniyle oluşan sekonder dalgalar zeminde hacimsel değişikliklere neden olmaktadır. Bunun sonucunda uygun şartlar oluştuğunda sıvılaşma riski oluşmaktadır. Temiz kumların sıvılaşabilirliği hali hazırda bilinmektedir. Siltli, killi ve çakıllı zeminlerin sıvılaşabilirliği hakkında görüş birliği halen oluşmamıştır. Örneğin 1999 Kocaeli depreminde oluşan vakalara bakıldığında zeminlerin kum haricinde ince daneli zeminlerde de sıvılaşma hadiseleri görünmüştür. Bu durum araştırmaların artmasında önemli bir rol oynamıştır. Bursa ili, Nilüfer ilçesi, Özlüce bölgesi jeolojisi alüvyon özelliği taşımaktadır. Bölge, bu nedenle kum, silt ve kil içeriklere sahiptir. Bu çalışmada teze konu olan bölge için iki parametre üzerinde durulmuş, genel zemin değerlendirmesi sıvılaşma potansiyeli ve taşıma kapasitesi analizleri ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Sıvılaşma potansiyeli analizi için, Seed ve Idriss, Fear ve Robertson, Vancouver Task Report ve Türkiye Bina Deprem Yönetmeliğinde önerilen yöntemler kullanılmıştır. Taşıma gücü analizleri için ise, Terzaghi ve Peck, Hensen, Meyerhof, Vesic yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Kaynaklardan toplamda 140 adet numune için sıvılaşma, 36 adet numune için taşıma gücü hesapları yapılmış ve çıkan sonuçlar yorumlanmıştır. Söz konusu numuneler içerisinde 11 adet numune kritik değerde bulunmuştur. Çalışma sonucunda, kohezyonsuz zeminlere ilave olarak plastisitesi düşük ince dane oranı az olan kohezyonlu zeminlerde de sıvılaşma potansiyelinin arttığı görülmüştür. Özellikle bu noktalardaki kritik sıvılaşma potansiyeli göz önünde bulundurularak yapılaşma öncesi zemin iyileştirme yöntemlerine başvurulması gerektiği tespit edilmiştir.
