Abstract
Daytonskim sporazumom potvrđene su ratom započete unutar-državne teritorijalne promjene, koje u današnjoj Bosni i Hercegovini čine temelje suvremenog političkog života. Poslije-ratni političko teritorijalni ustroj odrazio se negativno na sve aspekte države BiH, usporavajući njezin daljnji gospodarski, demografski i politički razvoj. Podjelom države na dva entiteta došlo je do reljefne, nodalno-funkcionalne, geografske, naseobinske dezintegracije. Glavni zadatak i cilj rada je razmatranje utjecaja Daytonskog sporazuma na suvremeni teritorijalno-politički, demografski, regionalni i ekonomski razvoj Bosne i Hercegovine. U radu se također ukratko proučava i historijsko-geografski razvoj BiH koji je uvjetovao ratne sukobe i njihovo zaustavljanje mirovnim sporazumom.
