Abstract
经过由柜台经营转向连锁经营，由线下实体经营转向网上零售经营两次大转型以后，京东已成为国内知名的综合类网上商城平台。2011年4月，刚完成了15亿美元的融资，公司董事长兼CEO刘强东正思考着京东发展的核心问题：如何开拓更多顾客，激发并维持他们的忠诚度？商品品类综合化后如何获得平衡发展？在日益激烈的竞争中，京东如何让自己变得更为强大？在这一过程中，又如何协调股东们对于盈利的期望？围绕这些问题，本案例分析了中国网上零售业市场的竞争状况，以及京东的运营模式，指出京东所面临的挑战与困难。案例适用于战略管理、运营管理等相关课程的MBA、EMBA教学。
