Abstract
Premenstrüel sendrom?, menstrüel siklusun geç luteal fazı sırasında ortaya çıkan ve menstrüasyonun baslaması ile kısa sürede yatısan, çesitli duygusal, fiziksel ve davranıssal belirtileri tanımlamak amacıyla kullanılan genel bir terimdir. Premenstrüel sendrom belirtileri üreme çağındaki kadınlarda yaygın olarak görülmektedir. Ancak, etiyolojisindeki belirsizlikler ve tanısında yasanan güçlükler nedeniyle yeterince tanınıp tedavi edilememektedir. Önceki yayınlar, premenstrüel sendrom ile aleksitimi ve öfke arasında bir iliski olabileceğini düsündürse de bu konuda ülkemizde yapılan arastırma sayısı oldukça kısıtlıdır. Bu çalısmada ise,üreme çağındaki kadınlarda, premenstrüel sendromun aleksitimi, öfke ve birtakım sosyodemografik özellikler ile iliskisinin değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıstır. Arastırma, 16?45 yas arası, basit rastgele örneklem yolu ile seçilen, 200 kadın katılımcı ile yürütülmüstür. Katılımcılar, Premenstrüel Değerlendirme Formu, Toronto Aleksitimi Ölçeği, Spielberger Sürekli Öfke ve Öfke ?fade Tarzı Ölçeği, Bedensel Duyumları Abartma Ölçeği, Belirti Yorumlama Anketi, Beck Depresyon Envanteri ve Beck Anksiyete Envanteri'ni içeren testler ile değerlendirilmistir. Premenstrüel sendrom tanısı için DSM-IV'te önerilen belirtilerin vesosyodemografik özelliklerin belirlenebilmesi için ise arastırma için hazırlanan anket formları kullanılmıstır. Katılımcılar, Premenstrüel Değerlendirme Formu puanlarına göre ?olası premenstrüel sendromu olanlar? ve ?premenstrüel sendromu olmayanlar?olmak üzere iki alt gruba ayrılmıstır. Olası premenstrüel sendrom grubu ile medenî durum ve psikiyatrik hastalık öyküsü arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir iliski olduğu gözlenmistir. Bekârlarda ve öyküsünde psikiyatrik hastalığı olanlarda, olasıpremenstrüel sendromun daha fazla görüldüğü saptanmıstır. Olası premenstrüel sendrom grubunda, Toronto Aleksitimi Ölçeği, Sürekli Öfke Alt Ölçeği, Öfke Dısa Alt Ölçeği puanlarının daha yüksek, Öfke Kontrol Alt Ölçeği puanlarının ise daha düsük olduğu tespit edilmistir. Çalısma sonuçlarımız, tüm sınırlılıklara rağmen, premenstrüel sendromun yordayıcılarının kesin olarak belirlenebilmesi için daha fazla sayıda nitelikli çalısmaya gereksinim olduğunu göstermektedir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Premenstrüel sendrom, aleksitimi, öfke, sosyodemografik özellikler.
