Introducción: La prematuridad es un problema de salud pública a nivel mundial. Gracias a la tecnología y los cuidados permanentes en las estancias hospitalarias de la UCIN, la supervivencia de los bebés muy prematuros ha mejorado en los últimos tiempos, dando como resultado una serie de complicaciones y morbilidades, desencadenando deficiencias motoras en un 25% y altas afecciones neurológicas del 42% al 47%. Objetivo: Describir las intervenciones fisioterapéuticas tempranas que favorecen el desarrollo motor grueso en el bebé prematuro. Metodología: La presente revisión narrativa utilizó artículos en inglés publicados del 2015 al 2025, los documentos fueron extraídos de Pubmed, Google académico, Science direct. De los cuales se seleccionaron por título, luego texto completo y finalmente los que cumplieron con los criterios de elegibilidad. Descripción de Hallazgos: Se revisaron 560 artículos de los cuales solo 35 evidencian que los bebés prematuros son más propensos a presentar alteraciones del desarrollo motor grueso. Las herramientas de valoración más utilizadas fueron: La escala motora infantil de Alberta y la escala motora de Bayley III, destacando que el percentil 10 del AIMS fue el más eficaz para detectar retrasos en el desarrollo motor grueso, mostrando alta especificidad. Conclusiones: Según la evidencia las intervenciones multisensoriales, movilizaciones y la estimulación táctil cinestésica ayudaron a regular sus signos vitales y el mejor desempeño motor, demostrando su efectividad en la atención precoz. El 25% de neonatos muy prematuros tienen trastornos del neurodesarrollo a los 2 años y rendimiento motor deficiente comparado con neonatos a término.
