Abstract
In dieser Arbeit wird das Thema "Zur Entstehung, Tätigkeit und den Zielen des Allgemeinen Deutschen Sprachvereins" behandelt. Zunächst wird der Begriff Sprachpurismus erläutert. Danach werden die Einflüsse des Französischen auf das Deutsche im Laufe der Geschichte analysiert und erläutert, genau wie auch die Einflüsse des Englischen auf das Deutsche. Nach diesem theoretischen Überblick folgt die ausführliche Analyse der Entstehung, Tätigkeit und den Zielen des Allgemeinen Deutschen Sprachvereins. Es wird ein Überblick gegeben, wieso der Verein gegründet wurde, wer die Mitglieder waren und was sie für die Sprache gemacht haben. Am Ende folgt die Schlussfolgerung der ganzen Arbeit.
