Abstract
The Olomouc cloister of dominican nuns was created in the last quarter of the 13th century and existed until 1782. The preserved plans from the 19th century along with the results of the construction-historical research provide a noteworthy finding that next to the presbytery of the church of St Catherine there existed a gothic chapel. In light of the lack of background materials, it is no longer possible today to reconstruct its appearance. The topic of the article is therefore particularly considerations of the possible usage of this space. A memorial function can be considered, but also some specific purpose within the monastic operations.
