El presente trabajo de investigación responde a diversas inquietudes surgidas a través del desinterés por leer que se observó en los estudiantes del grado 6A del Colegio Fe y Alegría “Madre Alberta” en la ciudad de Santiago de Cali en cuanto a como ser facilitadores en el proceso de construcción de hábitos lectores en estudiantes, docentes y padres de familia los cuales son los actores principales para la promoción de la lectura en el colegio y en el medio en que viven. El equipo investigador se propuso plantear alternativas de solución con una visión clara en miras a ser facilitadores permitiendo una concientización de la promoción de la lectura. En el Colegio Fe y Alegría “Madre Alberta” de la ciudad de Santiago de Cali, se desarrolló con los estudiantes del grado 6ª un aporte con mirar a fomentar en ellos un cambio actitudinal y una incorporación con la lectura; en el que se busca que los estudiantes valoren en su cultura y cotidianidad la importancia de la lectura y sus efectos que causa en su aprendizaje.
