Abstract
Rad opisuje na koji način su reforme koje su proveli državnici iz 6. i 5. st.pr.n.e. u Ateni utjecale na život i razvoj tog polisa. Rad daje pregled klimatskih i geografskih prilika toga područja, pregled institucija koje postoje u državi u vrijeme koje prethodi opisanom razdoblje, te opis političkih, gospodarskih i upravnih reformi koje su proveli Solon, Pizistrat i Klisten. Navodi se i povijesni, ekonomski i pravni kontekst provedenih reformi te uzročno-posljednična veza između njih i promjena u društvu.
