Abstract
Accused by her husband, Antonio Gómez Borges, a cloth merchant, Bernarda Manuel was imprisoned as a Judaizer by the Toledo Inquisition in 1650. During her time in jail, she wrote a written plea that sheds light on various aspects of her life and, above all, to the gender violence she suffered of her husband. Cast in a hybrid language that mixed her native Portuguese with the Spanish she had learned in Spain, the text allows us to reflect on writing as a practice of self-representation situated within highly precise coordinates such as those revealed by the Inquisitorial accusations and the prison. Bringing together this text with their testimonies, their "discourse of life", the confessions offered by other witnesses and the points of view of the tribunal, allows us to rethink the dynamics of the construction and reconstruction of the identity displayed by Bernarda Manuel, a common woman of the 17th century.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
