Abstract
The find assemblage from cesspit R in Courtyard No. III at Prague Castle was used to date its use to the period between the last quarter of the 16th century and the first third of the 17th century. In addition to the prevailing articles of standard pottery and glass, the cesspit also produced a luxurious polychrome jug decorated with relief portrait of Rudolph II.
