Abstract
Her üretim tarzı kendi kent mekânını yaratmaktadır. Dolayısıyla tarihsel süreç içerisinde üretim biçimlerinde yaşanan değişimler kentlerde bir takım değişim ve dönüşümleri meydana getirmektedir. Bu çerçevede değerlendirildiğinde sermaye birikim krizine bağlı olarak uygulamaya konulan neo-liberal politikalar ve Post-fordist üretim ilişkileri, sanayileşmeyle beraber değişim gösteren kent olgusunu kendi içerisinde değiştirmiş ve dönüştürmüştür. Diğer bir ifadeyle sanayileşme dönemiyle birlikte sermaye birikim aracı olan kentler neo-liberal politikalar ve beraberinde Post-fordist üretim ilişkileri ile birlikte sermaye birikiminin esas aktörü haline gelmiştir. 2000’li yıllarla beraber hızlanan kentsel dönüşüm uygulamaları, kentte sınıflar arasındaki ayrışmayı derinleştirmiş; zenginin daha zenginleştiği yoksulun daha yoksullaştığı bir süreci beraberinde getirmiştir. Ancak esas etki çocular ve yoksul çocuklar üzerinde görülmektedir. Çünkü kentsel dönüşüm süreci yoksul ailelerin üzerindeki ekonomik yükü artırmaktadır. Bu durum ise yoksul ailelerdeki çocukların emek piyasasına dâhil olmasına neden olabilmektedir. Zira çocuklarda yoksulluğun en büyük yansıması çocuk işçiliği olarak ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bu bağlamda çalışmamız Türkiye’de kentsel dönüşüm uygulamalarının kapsamlı olarak gerçekleştirildiği ilk örneklerden olan Küçükçekmece ilçesi Ayazma mahallesinde yaşanan dönüşüm süreci ile ortaya çıkan yoksullaşmadan etkilenen ve bu sebeple emek piyasasına dâhil olan çocukları ele almaktadır.
