Siden begyndelsen af 1900-årene har de mere end 130 lokaliteter i Skandinavien og på Orkney med betegnelsen Husaby, Huseby, Husby etc. været genstand for debat. De enkelte artikler behandler Husebyer fra forskellige områder ud fra onomastisk, historisk, arkæologisk perspektiv.
