The essay deals of specific group of Madonnas on lion of the third quarter of the 14th century. The first exhibition of gothic Madonnas on lion, common project of Muzeum umění in Olomouc and Bergbau- und Gotikmuseum in Leogang (Austria) presented at two places sculptures and paintings from the Czech Republic, Poland, Austria, Germany and France.
