Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The main objective of this research was to determine the relationship between the level of job satisfaction and working conditions among 27 grade teachers of the morning and afternoon shifts of Centro Educativo Fe y Alegría No. 8.171 during the second quarter term of the school year 2022 in Salta Capital, Argentina. The study was carried out considering the principles of work and organisational psychology and following Frederick Helbertz's bifactor theory. It is a case study where the information collected was analysed observing the qualitative and quantitative methods; descriptive and explanatory in scope. The collection instruments were interviews and Oros and Main's (2004) Job Satisfaction Scale for Teachers (ESLA-education). According to the results, the level of job satisfaction was found to be medium in 67% of the grade teachers. The relationship between working conditions and job satisfaction is reflected in the four dimensions of task, socio-organisational, motivational and self-fulfillment. It was also found that there is a predominance of intrinsic rather than extrinsic factors of job satisfaction among the teachers. Communication, motivation, integration, vocation and sense of achievement reflect higher satisfaction, whereas time off during the working day reflects dissatisfaction.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
