<i><span style="font-size:9.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:9.5pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";letter-spacing:-.1pt;mso-ansi-language:TR;mso-fareast-language:TR;mso-bidi-language:AR-SA">Son 20 yılda “Her ile birüniversite” politikasıyla artan üniversite sayısı, Anadolu kentlerinde öğrenciodaklı yeni bir kentleşme dinamiği yaratmıştır. Öğrenci sayısındaki ciddiartış, üniversite çevresindeki mahallelerde konut krizine yol açmış, konut fiyatlarınınyükselmesi ve kültürel uyumsuzluklar yerel halk ile öğrenciler arasında gerilimdoğurmuştur. Erzurum örneğinde yapılan bu çalışma, öğrencilerin özel kiralıkkonutlara erişimde yaşadığı zorlukları ve bu zorlukların çözüm yollarını yarıyapılandırılmış görüşmelerle analiz etmektedir. Araştırma, yüksek fiyatlarkadar, öğrenciler hakkındaki önyargıların — özellikle cinsiyet, etnik köken vegörünüşe dayalı — ayrımcılığı derinleştirdiğini ortaya koymaktadır. Çalışma,öğrenci konut piyasasının ekonomik fayda ile kültürel dışlamayı bir aradabarındıran ikircikli yapısına dikkat çekmektedir.</span></i>
