Тази статия съобщава резултатите от изследването на два типа староанглийски и староисландски конструкции, ексцерпирани от корпусите The York-Toronto-Helsinki Parsed Corpus of Old English Prose (2003) и Íslendinga Sögur (1998), а именно: тип V-DO(Acc)-IO(Dat), при който прякото допълнение се дислоцира с цел прикрепване (adjunction) към крайна позиция в дясната периферия на глаголната фраза (VP-internal Scrambling) и Vfin-DO(Acc)-IO(Dat)-Vnon-fin, при който и двете глаголни допълнения се дислоцират с цел прикрепване към крайни позиции в лявата периферия на глаголната фраза (short-distance Scrambling).
